Job Context
Metafour Asia is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic DevOps Intern to join our Software as a Service (SaaS) Operations team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working in cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success and growth of our company while developing valuable skills in DevOps. Metafour is an employee-owned, multinational software company serving 150+ clients worldwide for more than 40 years.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Install and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security, and troubleshoot issues
- Deploy updates and fixes
- Reduce the occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
- Implement automation tools and develop scripts to automate workflows
- Write documentation for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Install and manage database clusters
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software
- Ensure ISO27001 and ISO22301 compliance such as regular backups, ensure disaster recovery and business continuity processes are in place
- Documentation, quality assurance and change management of hosting infrastructure
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.
