Job Context

Ahmed Group, a reputed leading figure in the textile industry of Bangladesh is looking for experienced professional for the position of DGM/AGM (HR & Admin) for Head Office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Follow up daily HR & Admin related activities as organization demand in keeping with company policy with strong supervision.
  • Selection & Recruitment proficiency: ensure appropriate recruitment action plan to support talent sourcing.
  • Manage the recruiting process to attract and hire qualified candidates for position vacancies within the company.
  • Maintain all personnel records and ensure proper documentation of all HR & Admin related files as per ISO Environment policy, Health & Safety policy.
  • Maintain sound liaison and public relations with all relevant authorities including law enforcement agencies, different government agencies and local influential community leaders to ensure smooth operation.
  • Labor Law Proficiency: Labor Law-2006, Factories Act-1979, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting Law-2003 and ILO convention Relevant in Bangladesh.
  • To lead and manage audit preparations for certifications and to prepare factory for different types of audits like BSCI, OEKO-TEX, Inditex, OCS, GOTS, BSCI, GRS, RCS etc.
  • Must have experience to obtain license & renewal (Factory, Trade, Fire, Environmental certificate, IRC, ERC etc.)
  • Proper certification such as ISO, Fire Policy, Environment and so on.
  • Handle grievance and disciplinary issues smoothly and ensure proper discipline in the organization
  • Monitor administrative, Transport & overall logistics issue as per company policy.
  • Monitor factory security, safety issues to keep the premises safe & secured.
  • To prepare factory for facing different audit such as social / ethical / environmental / technical.
  • Follow up all policy, records, formats, statement, files, registers of all departments are properly prepared, issued, update & maintained as per compliance requirement/ standards.
  • Coordinate with the factory management team for effective production and operation support.
  • Any other task assigned by the management.
