Responsibilities & Context
- Compliance Responsibilities:
- Lead the Compliance team and build up the competency of the compliance team.
- Lead and administer all types of buyers/3rd party social and environmental compliance audits.
- Preparing & developing the factories for buyers visit or third parties visit, communicating with audit companies, buyers and other agencies. Maintaining communication with all government/compliance related organization.
- Responsible for ensuring healthy workplace, maintaining efficient operation of Safety, Hygiene and Environment.
- Keep all buyers’ Code of Conduct up to date of and should have good knowledge and experience on buyers’ Code of Conducts.
- Handle Social, Technical, environmental & COC Audits effectively so that factories get higher ratings.
- Establish a high standard of OHS system.
- Responsible for ensuring healthy & safe work place.
- Prepare audit CAP report independently and follow up day to day audits.
- Maintain all compliance related documents as per buyers’ COC, labor law and other certification audit standard.
- HR Responsibilities:
- Lead the HR team effectively and develop their efficiency, effectiveness and competency continually.
- Develop organization’s strategies by identifying day to day operational human resources issues.
- Establish human resources objectives in line with organizational policies.
- Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staffs.
- Plan, monitor, appraise, and review staffs’ job contributions continually.
- Determine production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies.
- Design standard systems for optimum operational outcome by efficient utilization of resources.
- Establish a smart problems solving mechanism.
- Motivate workers and maintain harmonic relationship between workers and management.
- Develop, maintain and update the company organogram, department SOPs and overall Manpower planning of the factory.
- Prepare appropriate recruitment plan to support talent sourcing, manage the recruiting process and ensure the timely and accurate implementation.
- Establish & implement an effective Performance Appraisal System for all employees.
- Coordinate with different functional department heads to identify training needs assessment and design a training plan accordingly & implement it as planned.
- Perform salary surveys periodically to stay updated with industry trends.
- Comply with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Deal any performance or grievance issues in a legally compliant and professional manner.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are up to date and legally compliant.
- Ensure payroll accurately on time every month.
- Any other responsibility assigned by management.
