Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Digital Reporter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for news reporting, a strong understanding of digital media trends, and the ability to produce high-quality content that resonates with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being physically present at the location of the news event, which may involve navigating crowds, and dealing with dynamic or challenging environments.
- Articulating information clearly and effectively to the audience, often under pressure. This includes maintaining composure and professionalism during live broadcasts.
- Reassure and maintain relationships with sources to gather information and insights that contribute to well-rounded reporting.
- Respond to breaking news events quickly and accurately, providing real-time updates and coverage as needed.
- Work closely with editors, photographers, videographers, and other team members to produce cohesive and compelling stories.
- Manage and update social media platforms to promote content, interact with readers, and build our brand presence.
- Adhere to the highest standards of journalistic ethics and integrity, ensuring fairness, balance, and objectivity in all reporting.
