  • At least 3 years’ experience at management level and have sound knowledge and experience on team management as well as shall have experience on integrated Community Development and capacity building approach.
  • Good English writing and speaking skills is a must. Shall have experience on proposal writing using log frame/RBM tools and budgeting, monitoring, data management and reporting, finance management including MIS and skills on assessing organizational risk management as well as safeguarding, donors’ compliances etc.
  • Shall have valid motorcycle driving license. Age: 35 to 50 years old.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Location: Organization’s Head Office, Mymensingh City, Mymensingh.

PARI Development Trust is a national NGO registered with NGOAB working in greater Mymensingh. PARI is implementing community development, maternal & child health, nutrition, food Security and livelihood, agriculture and child rights program in several Upazilas of Mymensingh, Netrokona, Sunamganj, Jamalpur, Sherpur and Tangail districts. PARI is looking for a Director – Program and Quality Assurance (DPQA) to look after PARI’s projects and programs, work directly with heads of programs/projects, ensure program quality through a comprehensive monitoring, evaluation and learning approach, guide and drive the project/programs team through participatory management, in some contents, work directly with funding partners specially for programs and funding issues, writing proposals and impacts reports for donors and government, assess training needs of the program team, organize and facilitate skill development training and assist executive director for other tasks.

Job Summary:

  • One: to assure the overall project/program implementation and the project operates in accordance with approved policies and procedures through supervision of the Program Managers/Project Managers/Program Coordinators.
  • Two: To assure an effective and efficient process of planning, reporting, monitoring and evaluation;
  • Three: To oversee the work in Mymensingh, Jamalpur, Tangail, Sherpur, Netrokona and Sunamganj and any other new area.
  • Four: To coordinate and lead the monthly PMT meeting in absence of Executive Director;
  • Five: To oversee project/program accounts maintaining good coordination and connection with Finance and Admin Officer;
  • Six: To maintain relations with current donors’/support partners and to seek new funding sources;
  • Seven: To network and build relations with other NGOs and development organizations.
  • Eight: To network with and be responsible for reporting to the NGO Affairs Bureau, district and upazila administrations and
  • Nine: To report to the Executive Director in order to keeping him updated on the program/project activities.
