Job Context

Meghna Pulp and Paper Mills Ltd. (MPPML) and Meghna Ballpen and Accessories Manufacturing Ltd. (MBAML) are the sister concerns of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI). MPPML and MBAML are engaged with producing Stationaries and hygiene products (e.g., Paper, Pen, Pencil, sharpener, Eraser, Scale, Tissue Products, Baby Diaper, Baby Wipes, and Sanitary Napkin). We are seeking for passionate, well-qualified, and experienced Divisional Sales Manager for its Sales & Marketing Department who will have a central role in propelling our company’s growth by providing leadership and direction to a vibrant sales team. This position’s reporting structure involves direct communication and accountability to the Regional Head.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team in a specific area by nurturing a high-performance culture. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to improve the team’s sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Oversee and plan activities concerning the sale of manufactured goods (Fresh Tissue, Fresh Stationery, Fresh Anonna Sanitary Napkin, Fresh Happy Nappy Pant Diaper, Fresh Happy Nappy Baby Wipes) and services or other subjects of sale.
  • Collaborate with the regional head to align sales efforts with overall business objectives, and then create and implement successful sales strategies and tactical plans to achieve or surpass sales objectives.
  • Perform market research to recognize customer requirements, market trends, competitive factors, and utilize these insights to enhance sales strategies and refine product/service positioning.
  • Monitor and assess critical performance metrics, such as sales revenue, conversion rates, and the expenses associated with acquiring customers.
  • Manage the sales budget for the division, allocate resources efficiently, control expenses Contribute to budget planning and forecasting.
  • Develop a deep understanding of company products/services and effectively communicate their value propositions to customers.
  • Ensure the sales team operates in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies by promoting ethical conduct within the team.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as Logistics, Sales Admin, and Product development team to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
  • Address and resolve sales-related issues proactively, including customer complaints, team performance challenges, and market fluctuations.
  • Embrace and promote change within the team by implementing new tactics and technologies to stay competitive.
  • Prepare the reports (Sales Performance, sales forecast, market analysis, divisional achievement) and submit it to the Regional Head and Head of Sales regularly.
