Responsibilities & Context

Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Bangladesh (OGSB) is an exceptional professional body working for improving the reproductive health of women through its collaborative activities with GOB, development partners, NGOs & other national and international agencies. OGSB is working for more than a decade to ensure the rights and fulfill the needs of women, adolescents and contributed much to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity. OGSB is one of the major implementing partners of Ipas Bangladesh in a project funded by Global Affairs Canada through HealthBridge Foundation of Canada titled ‘Improving SRHR in Dhaka Project’ to availability and access of quality SRHR services particularly family planning, MR and Post abortion care (PAC) services for poor and ultra-poor women and adolescents living urban areas of greater Dhaka. The project will also work to reduce SGBV by creating awareness among city dwellers. The five-year project will be implemented till December 2025 in close coordination and collaboration with MOH&FW, DGFP, UPHCSDP, Local Government Bodies including Dhaka North and South City Corporations, BGMEA and other stakeholders. Improving SRHR in Dhaka project is going to start a call centre through Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Bangladesh very soon at OGSB Hospital, Mirpur, Dhaka for SRHR services for poor and ultra-poor women and adolescents living urban areas of greater Dhaka. Doctors of the Call centre is mainly responsible for implementing and managing the call centre operations. They are responsible to talk to the beneficiaries over phone to resolve their queries and problems related to reproductive health especially on Menstrual Regulation (MR), Post Abortion Care (PAC) and Family Planning (FP). Doctors for Call Center, Improving SRHR in Dhaka Project will be supervised by the Program Manager of Improving SRHR in Dhaka Project.
Responsible for implementing and managing call center operations. Comfortable talking to the beneficiaries over the phone to resolve their queries and problems. Answer calls in a timely, professional and friendly manner Comfortable answering questions on MR, PAC, and FP Respond to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) related sensitive cases and forwarding for referrals Route calls to other team members whenever needed Report on customer feedback Complete call logs and reports Manage & update customer databases Follow-up on customer calls Boost customer loyalty by offering a proper experience over the phone Maintain confidentiality of client’s information Responsible for record-keeping of the calls and advice given to the clients as per call register and report periodically Call Center doctors will be responsible to deliver accurate information with excellent vocabulary skills Technical proficiency in handling equipment Any other project-related activities assigned by the management.
