Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Environmental Science

• Applicants having related professional training/certificate will be an added advantage.

Experience

• 5 to 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies, Garments, Textile, Group of Companies

• Knowledge SO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2015, ISO 9001:2008
• Lead auditor courses
• An open-minded & positive attitude
• Have the ability to adapt to a changing environment in a professional and impactful way

• Sound quality knowledge in the area of work

Responsibilities & Context

• To execute and to make sure the dispositions of Environment, Health and Safety are being complied.
• Comply and ensure all ISO 45001 requirements.
• Comply and ensure the local and corporate legal requirements related to the Health and Safety.
• Coordinate the implementation of the risk analysis for all designations.
• Evaluate and select the personal protective equipment for the employees.
• Coordinate the monthly meeting of the HS committee.
• Update action plans resulting from internal and external audits.
• Participate in compliance audits and ensure the implementation of resultant corrective/preventive action plans.
• Authorize Safety Permits for special activities like hot work, confined space work & work at height procedure.
• Investigate job-related accidents and ensure the implementation of the resultant corrective/preventive action plans.
• Communicate Lost Time Accidents to the legal applicable entities.
• Coordinate to obtain legal permits applicable to the facility (Ex, fire license).
• Coordinate the organization and training of the emergency brigades.
• Coordinate the organization of fire evaluation drills as per schedule.
• Report to the Ministry of Labor the activities performed related to safety, like accident report, fire drill report and safety equipment report.
• Follow up inspections of ERT – fire extinguishers and fire fighting system, fire alarms. (Monthly).
• Follow up designs and approvals for FPS & FDS.
