B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Industrial & Production Engineering from any reputed university. Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) and extensive practical experience in food processing plants will be considered.

Responsibilities & Context

ACI Agrolink Limited, a concern of ACI Group, is a prominent agro-processing company in Bangladesh, specializing in shrimp processing and export. To strengthen our technical team, we are looking for a proactive and skilled Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining smooth operations of processing plant machinery, ensuring timely maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement in production efficiency and compliance.

Oversee the installation and commissioning of processing equipment, including IQF, semi-IQF, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure smooth integration of new equipment.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system failures promptly.
Ensure the availability of spare parts and maintenance tools for critical machinery.
Monitor and optimize refrigeration system performance to maintain required temperature levels for frozen shrimp products.
Conduct periodic inspections and calibration of refrigeration and chilling equipment.
Oversee the construction, repair, and maintenance of factory infrastructure, including processing floors, drainage, and utility systems.
Ensure the facility meets industry standards for hygiene, durability, and operational efficiency.
Conduct routine safety inspections and enforce adherence to workplace safety protocols.
Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to optimize production output and maintain product quality.
Maintain records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and repair logs.
Prepare technical reports and recommendations for management regarding facility upgrades and maintenance requirements.
Support business continuity by ensuring 24/7 readiness of critical machinery.
Identify and recommend energy-efficient solutions to reduce operational costs.
Provide technical training and guidance to maintenance and operational staff.
Execute any other tasks assigned by the superior.
