Requirements
Education
- B.Sc. in Mechanical/ Electrical / Chemical/ Metallurgical engineering or equivalent degree from any reputated university.
Experience
- 1 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Chemical Industries, Cement Industry, LPG Gas/Cylinder Gas, Fuel/Petroleum
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
- Should have knowledge of various NDT techniques, interpretation of results, and mitigation measures.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards for design and fabrication of pressure vessels, process piping, relief system, and hydrocarbon storage vessels.
Responsibilities & Context
Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd. (BOGCL), is looking for some competent candidates for the Position of “Engineer/ Assistant Engineer- Plant Inspection & Integrity” at Hazaribagh, South Keraniganj, Dhaka.
The talent we are looking for will be the following experience:
- Prepare inspection plan for plants and facilities; ensure planned on-stream inspection, and inspections during plant stoppages are carried out in effective and timely manner.
- Interpret inspection results, prepare inspection reports, Testing and Inspection (T&I) reports, worksheets and non-compliance reports.
- Carry out all NDT Inspection, corrosion monitoring, inspection of Process pipe work and Process plant equipment.
- Carry out inspection checks on materials of construction, dimensional accuracy and other parameters and verify traceability as per receiving inspection procedures and work instructions.
- Review and approve subcontracted NDT reports for outsourced NDT activities such as RT and UT as applicable.
- Supervising the activities of individual inspectors and ensuring that all required duties are performed.
- Carry out welding supervision and inspection.
