Additional Requirements

Familiarity with industry regulations (ISO, NERC CIP, NIST) and safety standards.
Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, or Mitsubishi Systems PLC.
Sound knowledge about IoT / PLC / OS knowledge about MES Systems.
Proficiency in Ignition, Wonderware, Siemens WinCC, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or GE Complicity. Knowledge of Modbus, OPC UA, DNP3, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP.
Understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and industrial cybersecurity best practices.
Skilled in Python, VBScript, SQL, or similar languages.
Open-minded & positive attitude.
Have the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Work under pressure and potentiality to take the challenge of performing the job.

Responsibilities & Context

This role is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the SCADA system. The position involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, ensuring seamless data communication, and implementing necessary updates to maintain system efficiency. The role also requires coordination with cross-functional teams to support system optimization and ensure operational and safety standards compliance.

Design, configure, and maintain SCADA systems for industrial processes.
Integrate PLCs, RTUs, Sensors, Flowmeters, Energy meters, and HMIs with SCADA platforms.
Maintaining computer networks including mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.
Installing and configuring network equipment.
Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management.
Ensure cybersecurity compliance and implement data protection measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, vendors).
Document system configurations, protocols, and procedures. Provide training and support for end-users. Generate energy consumption report, monitoring all sensors and input/output devices.
In Case of abnormality report to the concerned department.
Designing HMIs and managing databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
Experience with cloud-based SCADA, virtualization, or IIoT (Industrial IoT). Knowledge of renewable energy systems (wind/solar SCADA) if applicable.
Familiarity with disaster recovery and backup solutions for SCADA.
