Responsibilities & Context
Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), one of the largest and leading conglomerates in Bangladesh is currently searching for some Electrical Engineer for its Calcium Carbonate Plant. This position will be responsible for automating, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing plant systems, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
Responsibilities:
- Implement programming techniques and configurations for machine automation, install electrical components and wiring systems, and test to ensure all devices operate safely and correctly.
- Develop and execute plans for electrical maintenance, oversee development projects, and supervise all installation work to ensure smooth operation.
- Observe and test the operation of systems and equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters, process meters, network analyzers, and other testing devices.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support and maintain best practices for safety and fault isolation.
- Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators to ensure effective and safe operation.
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, or modifications with minimal manufacturing specifications and documentation to ensure operational efficiency.
- Execute the maintenance work schedule as instructed by the supervisor to maintain system reliability.
- Maintain continuous proficiency in automation and control systems to ensure expertise and up-to-date knowledge.
- Participate in recommendations for system improvements to enhance performance.
- Keep an accurate and up-to-date record of spare parts to ensure their availability when needed.
- Read and translate PLC/DCS code, schematic wiring, Ladder, and P&ID process diagrams (Siemens S7 200, 1200, and 1500 PLC) to support accurate system operation.
