DG Bangla Engineering Ltd is a Leading Contracting Company performing specially Gov’t & Private sector for Structural, Firefighting, Bangladesh which are looking for a reliable and experienced Marketing Officer of Firefighting” to be responsible for the overall operations of Sales & Marketing activities.

Responsibilities & Context

We are seeking for a Business Development & Marketing Manager highly skilled and experienced Fire Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in the design and implementation of fire protection and detection systems, including standpipe systems, sprinkler systems, suppression systems, and fire alarm control panels. The candidate should be well-versed in the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC 2006 & BNBC 2020) and international standards such as IBC & NFPA. The job incumbent would be managing the operations of Sales & Marketing activities across locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working knowledge about communication skill to conduct in private & gov’t sector introduce new work.
• Ability Conduct with different vendor/parties to ensure new project.
• Identify target markets and ability to focus on industries like automobile owners, commercial vehicles, factories, data centers, and residential customers who prioritize fire safety.
• Research existing fire suppression systems in Bangladesh to position update product as a superior, innovative solution. Also ability product promotion.
• Ability to collaborate with fire departments and NGOs to run fire safety.
• Create marketing materials in Bengali to ensure the message resonates with the local audience.
• Custom Solutions: Candidate should have capabilities to custom the solution (fire detection, protection, gas suppression system) with respect to customer & system requirement.
• Pricing strategies and offer promotions or installment payment options to make the product more affordable.
• Collaborate with government bodies and industries to promote vendor product in compliance with fire safety regulations.

• Design and develop fire protection systems including standpipe systems, sprinkler systems, and suppression systems as per NFPA guidelines.
• Monitor and ensure that the facility of fire hydrant & fire pumps is adequate and are working properly.
• Project visits to create project requirements (BOQ) and meet with client for various engineering support.
• Meeting with Brand, Nirapon, RSC and other relevant authorities for engineering review and clarifications.
• Ensure In-house fire training for Firefighters, Rescuers, new employees, and security personnel.
• Ensure monthly Fire & Emergency evacuation drills as per program to aware all workers & staff.
• Ensure firefighting training from Fire Service & Civil Defense authority. Adequate knowledge in NFPA and BNBC on fire safety issues.
• Experience from Bangladesh Fire Services & Civil Defense will be preferred.
• Must have skill & sufficient experience to lead a fire safety team efficiently.
• Should have vast knowledge on fire safety management to ensure fire safety in a big composite Garments/ textile industry.
• Must be well familiar to set up firefighting equipment as per the requirement of the Bangladesh Fire Prevention Act.
• Must have experience in technical management of Fire Detection & Protection System (preparing BOQ, installation, problem solving, design drawing and RSC/Elevate Audit management) in RMG industry (Vendors and Factories).
• Adequate knowledge in NFPA and BNBC on fire safety issues.
• Former RSC Fire Safety engineers are highly encourage to apply.
