Engineer – MEP

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all MEP installation works including Electrical (Power, Lighting, LV Systems), Fire Detection & Protection, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure installation is done as per approved shop drawings, design intent, technical specifications, and international standards.
• Conduct daily inspections and ensure that installation activities are aligned with project progress schedules.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to ensure smooth MEP integration within the overall construction process.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, consultants, and vendors to resolve site issues promptly.
• Conduct regular MEP coordination meetings with subcontractors to monitor progress and address technical challenges.
• Check and review material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings for compliance with specifications.
• Ensure all MEP installations adhere to BNBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC, and other applicable standards.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of all MEP systems and ensure documentation of results.
• Ensure that all MEP site works are executed safely and comply with company EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports of MEP works.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings, inspection requests, non-conformance reports, and material deliveries.
• Support the project team in final handover documentation and as-built drawings preparation.
