Responsibilities & Context

Unique Cement Industries Limited (UCIL) is one of the sister concerns of Meghna Group of Industries which is operating its three strong brands named Fresh, Meghnacem Deluxe and Dhalai Special. Currently we are looking for some proactive and skilled professionals under Mechanical department of UCIL. This position will be responsible to handle day to day Mechanical maintenance activities and the incumbent will report to functional head for his/her daily duties and responsibilities.

• Ensure smooth functioning of all machines related to cement industry.
• Lead the mechanical maintenance and utility team.
• Develop sub-ordinates by imparting training to Foreman, Fitter, Welder, Rigger, Patroller & Helper to enhance and improve work performance.
• Operate erection and commissioning of machines when required.
• Minimize machine downtime by prompt responding of machine faults.
• Analyze trend and take corrective measures for repetitive problems.
• Prepare mechanical instrument requisitions for preventive and regular maintenance.
• Schedule and execute of preventive maintenance.
• Assist in sourcing spare parts by maintaining balance between cost and quality.
• Assist immediate supervisor to develop & implement SOP.
• Provide safety guidelines/safety briefing to sub-ordinates every day and create awareness for unsafe activities.
• Maintain all maintenance records according to the standard’s requirement.
