Able to work on own as well as being a team player.
Intelligent, hardworking and dedicated with the fitness to work long hours.
Should be dynamic, able to manage team, and have Excellent Leadership Quality and Interpersonal Communication Skills.
Have in-depth technical knowledge.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks to join our team. The ideal candidate will take full responsibility for the tool room, manage store stock and indent maintenance, develop functional designs of spare parts, and oversee departmental performance and activities.

Context:

Prepare detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Develop and refine designs of mechanical components and assemblies.
Ensure all drawings and designs comply with industry standards and specifications.
Assume full responsibility for the tool-room operations.
Oversee the maintenance, organization, and inventory of tools and equipment.
Implement and enforce safety protocols within the tool room.
Prepare and manage store stock inventory.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, ensuring timely reordering of supplies.
Develop and maintain indent systems to track material requirements and usage.
Design functional spare parts and components to meet specific operational needs.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure designs meet functional and performance requirements.
Conduct testing and analysis to validate design functionality and performance.
Oversee and coordinate departmental activities to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
