• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an English Medium School (IB/Cambridge/Edexcel).

• Experience teaching within the Cambridge Lower Secondary or IGCSE curriculum is highly preferred.

• Minimum two-year commitment is required for this role.

• Relocation to Narsingdi is necessary.

• High proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is essential.

• Enthusiastic and empathetic attitude towards working with young learners.

• Goal-oriented and able to manage tasks effectively under pressure.

• Proficiency in MS Office and G Suite is essential.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities & Context

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons for Grades 6-8, following the Cambridge Lower Secondary English/ESL curriculum.

• Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that fosters learning and student confidence in language acquisition.

• Develop lesson plans that meet the individual learning needs of students and encourage a high standard of performance.

• Monitor and assess students’ progress and provide regular feedback to both students and parents.

• Use a variety of teaching methodologies, including interactive techniques, to ensure a dynamic and engaging learning experience.

• Participate in school events, training sessions, and professional development activities.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including lesson plans, assessments, and report cards.

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote a holistic approach to student learning.
