Requirements

Education

• Bachelor/Honors

• A CELTA, TESOL, or TEFL certification is preferred.

Experience

Additional Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching English as a second language, with expertise in IELTS, PTE, or TOEFL preparation.

• Previous experience in video content creation for educational purposes is a plus.

• Experience in a similar role at an educational institution or language center is preferred.

• Minimum IELTS band score of 7.5 overall with at least 7.0 in each section.

• Minimum PTE Academic score of 75 overall with at least 70 in each section.

• Passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals.

• Must be adaptable and able to manage different proficiency levels in a classroom.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle administrative responsibilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

• Plan, organize, and deliver lessons for IELTS, PTE, and other English language courses, both in-person and online.

• Tailor lesson plans to meet students’ diverse needs and proficiency levels.

• Conduct practice tests and provide feedback to help students improve their performance.

• Guide students on exam formats, strategies, and techniques for all test sections (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).

• Monitor and evaluate student progress, and suggest personalized learning strategies.

• Create a positive and motivating learning environment.

• Assist students with any language-related queries and difficulties.

• Prepare teaching materials, assignments, and other learning aids.

• Stay updated on the latest exam patterns, syllabus changes, and teaching methods.

• Work closely with the academic team to ensure quality and consistency in course delivery.

• Create and contribute to video content for educational purposes, including exam tips, tutorials, and other relevant English language learning materials.

• Administrative duties as assigned by the company, such as student record-keeping, attendance tracking, and assisting with various organizational tasks.
