Requirements

Education

• SSC

S.S.C or Undegraded diploma from an accredited academic institution with one years of relevant professional experience.

Additional Requirements

• Basic knowledge in relevant issues such as migration, displacement, and humanitarian assistance;
• Basic knowledge in data collection and assessment operations;

Responsibilities & Context

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Perform the profiling assessments about displacement, population mobility, movement flows, access to services and living conditions and any other source of data required, as assigned by the Team Leader. This will require periodical visits to several settlement types by establishing a network of key informants in the selected catchment areas;
• Carry out long quantitative assessments with community leaders, religious leaders, key informants, local representatives, and service providers to accurately reflect the needs, challenges, vulnerabilities, and protection needs of the community;
• Support data collection and research efforts of other organization enumerator teams when assigned;
• The incumbent will be responsible to respect assessment deadlines, ensure the accuracy of the survey data submitted, as well as integrity and protection of data as per DTM guidelines and organization Data Protection Manual;
• Travel to data collection sites when necessary and ensure compliance with security protocols of organization;
• Advise and keep organization abreast of evolving population movements, trends and dynamics through qualitative information;
• Report to direct supervisor on implementation status, including the progress, irregularities and shortfalls; recognizing and giving an account of problems in obtaining data;
• Incumbents are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and adhere to PSEA principles, organization policies, procedures, and values at all times ensuring respect towards beneficiaries and KI. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
