Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science

Any Applicant have Bachelor Degrees from others discipline, having Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, short/long course Certificate on Environment Safeguard Management/Occupational Health and Safety Management with commendable experience can be apply for the post.

Experience

• 3 to 6 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  NGO, Development Agency, Multinational Companies, Consulting Firms, Group of Companies

Responsibilities & Context

• Objective:

  SQ Group of Companies are a Bangladeshi Company have diverse scope of Business in Power Sector and Agriculture Sector that Includes Manufacturing Supply and EPC works.SQ Group of Companies are going to implement Effective Environment safeguard in compliance to ISO 14001 and Occupational Health and Safety standard in compliance to ISO 45001 in their all industries and Projects.

• Responsibilities:

  • Auditing the factories/projects in monthly to monitor the compliance as per the approved Environment and Safeguards compliance Policy.

  • Auditing the Factories/projects for monitoring the OHS compliance as per the approved OHS Policy.

  • Prepare/update the Environment Safeguards Compliance Policy, Environment Management Plan (EMP) Occupational Health and safety (OHS)Policy.

  • Prepare Policy for prevention and control of Infectious and Communicable diseases in work place.

  • Conduct Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) or Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) for new project(s)/factory(ies).

  • Prepare and compile documents for ISO Audit for Environment & OHS management System.

  • Prepare Project/Sub-Project Specific ESMP/CESMP (for EPC project) in compliance to EMP.

  • Provide Training on Environmental Safeguard and Climate Resilient RECP to the employees.

  • Provide training on OHS management system.

  • Guide Employees/Staff of the factories and projects to Implement RECP and OHS Practices.

  • Any other tasks, duties or Specific task related to EHS assigned by the Project managers/ Top Managements.
