Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc)

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field from public university is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct effective environmental training and presentations.
• Certification in environmental management (e.g., ISO 14001) is preferred.
• Proficiency in using environmental management software and tools.

Responsibilities & Context

• Develop and implement environmental policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor and manage waste disposal, pollution control, and resource conservation efforts.
• Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and education to employees on environmental best practices.
• Collaborate with management and staff to develop and implement sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports and documentation as required by regulatory agencies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in environmental practices.
• Coordinate with different environmental stakeholders & arrange environmental awareness programs within the organization.
• Promote a culture of environmental awareness and responsibility within the organization.
