Requirements
Education
- B. Sc in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) / Statistics / Mathematics / Textile Engineering from any reputed university.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Packaging Industry, Garments Accessories
- Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in production planning / subcontract / 3rd party coordination, preferably in trims or garments accessories industry.
- Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills are also encouraged to apply.
- Good communication and coordination ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and execute production plans with subcontractors based on master production schedules and customer demand.
- Review subcontractor capacity and allocate orders accordingly to meet lead times and delivery targets.
- Monitor daily/weekly production progress at subcontractor sites and take corrective actions in case of delays or bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth material flow and on-time shipment.
- Evaluate subcontractor performance in terms of delivery, quality, and compliance; recommend improvement actions.
- Ensure all subcontractor activities comply with company policies, standards, and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate production and shipment tracking data, and update planning systems regularly.
- Support new subcontractor onboarding, including capability assessment and production trial coordination.
- Analyze production variances, identify risks, and provide forecasts or contingency plans when needed.
