Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university (Graduation is mandatory).

Experience

  • 1 to 2 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Airline, Freight forwarding, Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • Prior experience in airlines, freight forwarding, or cargo logistics is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
  • Strong ability to negotiate and close deals with agents and clients.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, sales performance, and revenue data to make strategic decisions.
  • Ability to handle operational challenges, customer issues, and sales discrepancies efficiently.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and customer service.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Effective implementation and execution of approved sales and business development strategies.
  • Prepare effective action plans to optimize revenue and maximize airlines’ Cargo position in the market.
  • Developing and implementing effective marketing plans for the airline’s diverse range of products and services.
  • Developing and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with Global, Corporate, and local agents
  • Develop a sales tariff structure to attain targets and increase revenue.
  • Use revenue management tools to obtain capacity forecasts, demand and bid prices, and allotment creation for required onward flights.
  • Strategically monitor the cargo planning on flights by determining the optimal balance between load factor and yield, thereby maximizing revenue contribution from the station.
  • Assist top management in preparing station revenue targets by analyzing flights, frequencies, capacities, aircraft types, market trends, opportunities, and forecasts.
  • Evaluate target-achievement variance in a set periodical manner and provide feedback to the management.
  • Recommend strategies and action plans based on historical data and market intelligence.
  • Coordinate the complete sales activities for all sales channels, analyze results, and submit periodical reports to airline and GSA management.
  • Monitor and consolidate customer feedback from all touch points, handle claims, discrepancies, and complaints professionally.
  • Established company brand image in the market by ensuring outstanding customer service from all avenues according to the guidelines of the organization’s SOP.
  • Ensure collection of C&F certificate / Encashment certificate for remittance purposes within the required deadlines.
  • Maintain rapport with first leg carrier space and capacity into the designated hub of the airline.
  • Monitor & coordinate with the operation team for cargo acceptance, build-up, and fly as booked.
  • Collect payments from agents/customers as per the required timeline.
  • Any other assignment as and when assigned by the company / Management.
