Responsibilities & Context
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef with expertise in Bengali, Russian, and Chinese cuisines and à la carte service to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating authentic and innovative dishes that showcase the rich flavors and traditions of these cuisines.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen operations and ensure efficient workflow
- Create and execute menus featuring authentic Bengali, Russian, and Chinese dishes
- Manage kitchen staff, including training and performance evaluation
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Develop and maintain inventory systems to minimize waste and control costs
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
