Responsibilities & Context

Job Responsibilities:

• Set the target and draft and design layout of machine, materials, and workspace to illustrate maximum efficiency, using drafting tools and computer;
• Study and record time, motion, method, and speed involved in the performance of production, and other worker operations;
• Prepare layout for the floor for effective utilization of men, machines, and materials;
• Analyze productivity and improve the system by implementing the kaizen process;
• Lay out the production schedule so that production quotas are met;
• Prepare still inventory for the operator;
• Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards;
• Arrange technical and pre-production meetings with the production and quality team before new styles/input are given in line;
• Recommend methods for improving utilization of personnel, material, and utilities
• Regulate and alter workflow schedules according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times to expedite production operations;
• Perform any other task as assigned by the superior.
