Responsibilities & Context
- Clearance and timely delivery of imported goods.ยท
- Coordinating customs examinations, ensuring accurate documentation and online report submissions.
- Resolve discrepancies or disputes that arise during inspections.
- Ensure all necessary permits, licenses, and certifications are in place.
- Handle on-the-spot issues, including valuation disputes, duty adjustments, or other challenges.
- Obtaining gate passes and arranging transportation for goods delivery to importers..
- Collaborate with port authorities, transporters, and other stakeholders. to expedite processes.
- Maintaining records of customs clearance and import activities for compliance and audits.
- Assisting importers in resolving post-clearance issues such as refunds or disputes.
- Stay updated on Bangladeshi customs laws, tariffs, and duty structures
