Additional Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in media relations, communications, or career placement/corporate engagement.
- Excellent command of English and Bangla, both verbal and written.
- Strong public speaking, content writing, and presentation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of social and digital media.
- An IELTS score of 7 or above is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
- Strategic thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Job Context
- We are seeking dynamic and motivated professionals for the position of Executive: Media and Communications under the Office of the Registrar.
- This role blends the strategic aspects of media relations and external engagement, focusing on enhancing the University’s public profile and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders locally and globally.
- The candidate must have excellent communication skills, media savviness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write impactful press releases, media content, newsletters, and promotional material for both print and digital platforms.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the University’s brand and media presence.
- Manage relationships with local, national, and international media outlets to ensure effective coverage.
- Coordinate interviews, draft speeches, and arrange public engagements for university officials.
- Monitor and respond to media inquiries and manage reputational risks effectively.
- Organize and promote student-centered programs such as job fairs, workshops, internships, and career-building events.
- Build partnerships with industries and academic institutions to facilitate internships, placements, and student opportunities.
- Engage with alumni and external stakeholders to enhance university visibility and networking.
- Research employer needs and assist in planning student development programs aligned with market demands.
- Assist the Registrar/Department Head with administrative and strategic tasks.
- To perform such other duties as may be assigned by the management.
