Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience with data management, system design, and data analysis.

Strong understanding of database management systems (SQL, Oracle, etc.).

Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

Experience with ERP or CRM systems.

Experience in project management.

Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, SQL, etc.).Master’s degree or certifications in MIS or related fields

Responsibilities & Context

System Management:

Design, implement, and manage the company’s MIS systems, ensuring data is collected, stored, and processed effectively.

Oversee the maintenance and updating of the MIS software and hardware systems to ensure continuous, reliable operation.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data trends to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Develop and maintain regular reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management.

Provide ad-hoc reports based on business requirements.

Database Management:

Ensure the organization’s data is organized, accurate, and up to date.

Perform database administration duties including backups, data recovery, and optimization.

Support and Troubleshooting:

Provide support to end-users for the MIS tools and systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues or queries raised by users or other departments.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments (such as IT, HR, Finance) to integrate MIS with business processes.

Assist in the development of new systems or improvements to existing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Training and Documentation:

Train employees on the use of MIS tools and provide necessary documentation.

Prepare user manuals and provide on-going training to ensure staff are fully utilizing the system.

Security & Compliance:

Ensure the security of data stored within the MIS, implementing necessary access control and encryption protocols.

Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).Technology Evaluation:Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.Evaluate new tools and technologies that can improve the MIS or enhance business operations.
