Requirements

Education

• Minimum graduate from any discipline but H.S.C from Science Discipline will get preference.
• Educational qualification may be relaxed in case of experienced and really deserving candidate.

Experience

• At least 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Tannery/Footwear, Chemical Industries

Additional Requirements

• Age 25 to 35 years

• Certified on ISO 17025 (QMS), SATRA certified candidate will get preference.

• The incumbent should be dynamic, self-motivated, responsible and goal oriented.
• Strong communication abilities in Bangla and English both oral and written.
• Should be a team player having good interpersonal skills.
• Should have positive and flexible attitude.
• Computer literacy especially in office package is must.
• Able to work in Cross-Functional environment.

Responsibilities & Context

• Able to set Lab Quality team and ensure that targets are achieved.

• Provide technical guidance, assess and evaluate the skills of technicians.
• Ensure maintenance status of all instruments by lab technicians.
• Keep updated internal & external test reports, review test reports on regular basis & keep updated information.
• Arrange & manage required audit & certification works with the authorized external certification bodies.
• Inform supervisor about failed test result and take necessary corrective & preventive action.
• Arrange training to increase the skills of respective staffs/ operators/ technicians.
• Follow all kinds of test & monitoring test process as per standard.
• Check test report, validate and ensure test report’s management.
• Update all kinds of lab documents with proper management.
• Monitor & ensure calibration status of all machines and tools of lab.
• Send sample to the customer validated external lab & communicate with them regarding tests.
• Follow-up payment issues with external lab & company accounts.
• Communicate with customer(s) and company’s internal sections about required lab & test issues.
• Check & monitor test accessories requirement and develop required new tests.
• Support AQL team through providing report for inspection.
• Solve machine problem by communicating with supplier or internal maintenance team.
• Advice and suggest technical solution to vendors on new products development and conduct production risk analysis with marketing/ merchandising team.
• Should be able to do lab risk assessment & management.
• Follow-up SOP & Material Test Standard Requirement (MTSR) update status.
• Ensure total lab management as per customers’ requirements.
• Able to manage & control under command with desired discipline.
• Ensure lab & social compliance related issues as per expectation.
• Perform other duties & responsibilities as when assigned by the superior.
