Education

B.Sc. in Engineering/ Diploma in Engineering/ M.A. / M.Sc. or Equivalent.

Experience

• 1 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Group of Companies, Gas, LPG Gas/Cylinder Gas

Additional Requirements

• Age 23 to 35 years

Training on Six Months Fire Safety Manager/Fire Science and Occupational Health and Safety under FSCD.

NEBOSH IGC/IOSH will be given preference.

Must have ISO internal auditor course (ISO 9001:2015 and 45001:2018).

Responsibilities & Context

JMI Cylinders Limited (JCL), a flagship strategic business unit of JMI Group engages in the manufacturing of cylinders. JCL is uniquely poised to cater to the demand to the country and has got the surplus capacity to export to the overseas markets.

Conduct risk assessments and list all the possible ways to reduce them.

Set up safety operational procedures that will identify any hazards in the workplace.

Regularly inspect the work area to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed.

Make sure that the company supports safe work practices and complies with the law.

Help to develop OHS strategies and plans of the Company.

Conduct in-house OHS training for management and non-management employee.

Make a note of review findings and suggest improvements.

List all workplace accidents and incidents for reporting and statistical purposes.

Make sure that all equipment is installed and operated safely.

Ensure that the company disposes of all waste and hazardous substances safely.

Provide advice with regards to particular topics, such as occupational illnesses, safeguarding company equipment and fire risks.

Have to maintain departmental ISO Documentation.
