- Knowledge of ERP systems will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive – Planning (Cutting) to join our Knit Garments Manufacturing team. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all cutting-related activities to ensure timely execution of production schedules and optimum utilization of resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cutting plans based on production requirements and shipment schedules.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Production, IE, Fabric Store, and Cutting departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor fabric availability and cutting input status to support production targets.
- Ensure optimum utilization of cutting capacity, manpower, and machinery.
- Follow up on cutting progress and take corrective actions to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Track cutting efficiency, wastage, and productivity performance.
- Prepare and maintain cutting-related reports, dashboards, and production status updates.
- Coordinate with the Fabric Warehouse to ensure timely fabric issuance according to the cutting plan.
- Support management in achieving on-time shipment and production objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management related to planning and production control.
