Responsibilities & Context
- Identify and develop relationships with domestic and international suppliers of fresh fruits.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, price competitiveness, and compliance with company standards.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable deals.
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that all fruits meet the company’s quality standards.
- Visit farms and production facilities to assess production processes and quality control measures.
- Monitor and resolve any quality issues related to fruits delivered.
- Manage seasonal variations and ensure consistent supply of high-demand fruits.
- Manage the sourcing budget effectively and seek ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.
