Responsibilities & Context

Avery Dennison is looking for Production Executive position. Please find the Job description below and apply.

Responsibilities:

Production Management:

Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to timelines.

Coordinate with other departments (e.g., GPD, quality assurance, logistics) to ensure smooth production flow.

Monitor and optimize production schedules to meet demand forecasts and minimize downtime.

Quality Control:

Ensure that all products meet quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to reduce defects or inconsistencies.

Lead troubleshooting efforts in the event of production issues.

Process Improvement:

Analyze production processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase quality.

Implement lean manufacturing practices or other methodologies for continuous improvement.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

Supervise and manage production teams, ensuring proper training, motivation, and adherence to safety standards.

Provide guidance to junior executives and production staff, offering mentorship and resolving conflicts when necessary.

Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans for team members.

Inventory and Resource Management:

Monitor raw material stock levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability.

Oversee machinery and equipment maintenance schedules to avoid delays.

Optimize resource utilization to prevent wastage and improve cost-efficiency.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of production activities, schedules, and outcomes.

Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting production KPIs, issues, and resolutions.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Problem-solving:

Address production bottlenecks, equipment failures, or supply chain disruptions promptly.

Analyze production data and take corrective actions to mitigate recurring issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

4+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in production management software (e.g., ERP systems).

Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Desired Skills:

Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications.

Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
