Responsibilities & Context
- To maintain the production of the finishing department, including stenter, sanforizing, peach & brush machine
- To ensure the fabric finish as per buyer requirements, like hand feel, GSM, tear, tensile & seam slippage
- To match the shade with the buyer’s given standard (avoiding the CSV problem)
- To control supervisors, operators & helpers
- Ensure priority-based execution of work orders
- Assesses worker safety & welfare
- Maintain dyes & chemical stock
- Ensure efficient communication
