Responsibilities & Context
- Collect purchase orders and purchase requisitions from the concerned department and proceed with the order placement to meet the requirement on time.
- Monitor stocks of local raw material of factory to ensure availability.
- Collect quotations from vendors & negotiate prices to ensure the purchase in competitive rate.
- Prepare comparative statement and take approval from management to finalize the purchase orders with suppliers.
- Visit market frequently and source products, raw materials and suppliers regularly.
- Prepare different types of reports as and when required.
