Responsibilities & Context
- Ensure required input available in the lines for smooth production.
- Make sure line inputs PO sequence as per delivery schedule sequence. (Cut panels, sewing accessories, and Finishing accessories).
- Coordinate with cut bank for cut kit issues.
- Monitor sewing accessories rejection rates and inform to Quality when it is over the limit.
- Monitor defective/ missing cut panel replacement within 24 hours.
- Monitor garment rejection rates.
- Ensure to start sewing as per Plan Sewing Date (PSD).
- Monitor daily production to meet on time shipment as per plan.
- If any production delay against FR plan, workout pieces plan with Manager/ deputy manager – sewing to meet the delivery and follow up pieces plan daily.
- Make sure to hand over garments before sewing close to finishing as per plan extra ship quantity.
- Handover all extra good (leftover) garments to finishing before last PO tally sheet close. (Colour wise)
- Work with GL & TL to clear line WIP within 24 hours of last tally sheet close. (Colour wise)
- Work with respective cross functional teams on corrective actions of any failure found it above processes.
- If any discrepancies happen need to inform Manager sewing & AGM Operations to get action.
- Final Inspection results, OTD, SAH achievement, Efficiency, Cut to ship ratio, Order to ship ratio, Performance to plan & NPT due to line input.
- Lead, motivate, train and appraise subordinates to accomplish business goal.
- Follow up the Executives & Supervisors Daily routine & their work actions.
- Ensure Functional reporting, goal alignment & performance evaluation process (Monthly touch base).
- Drive KAIZAN culture.
