Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibilities:
1. Organize and lead the overall custom & bond function of the Company as per government compliance.
2. Communicate with Bank, C&F, buyer, forwarder, audit firm, suppliers.
3. Board of investment and chief controller of import & export (CCI&E) regarding custom & bonds formalities.
4. Approve additional raw material requirements from custom bond.
5. Maintain strong liaison with Customs office and other government bodies related to customs
6. Perform and face routine audits by external agencies relating to UP.
7. Handle all customs-related responsibilities like yearly audits, HS Code formalities, general bond, receiving any kind of certificate, NOC.
8. Ensure preparation of Bill of Entry for forwarding relevant documents to C&F for custom clearance.
9. Communicate directly with customs house, customs bond.
10. Commissionerate and NBR as necessary to answer queries tranquilly and efficiently with updated documents and manage bond customs in any irregularities and difficulties.
11. Ensure handling over relevant documents to operations for transportation of goods and material to and from ports.
12. Ensure yearly import/export customs statement for bond audit.
13. Any other task assigned by the management.
Export: Responsibilities & Context
1. Make export documents as per LC / SC.
2. Issue SC, PI as per buyer requirement.
3. Prepare all types of export documents as per LC / SC for Footwear Industries.
4. Have working experience with different buyers.
5. Verify export documents for compliance with local and international regulations, liaise with clients, and perform logistical tasks.
6. Collect documents, prepare L/C accordingly, and complete bank formalities on time for timely delivery.
7. Execute all regulatory formalities of Customs relating to Export.
8. Liaison with C&F, Freight Forwarder & shipping line for online booking & monitor shipment.
9. Prepare Export statement.
10. Any other task assigned by the management.
Import: Responsibilities & Context
1. Organize and lead the overall custom & bond function of the Group as per government compliance.

3. Ensure updating bond register (In bond & Ex Bond) on due time.
4. Ensure yearly import customs statement for bond audit.
5. Maintain strong liaison with Customs office and other government bodies related to customs and bond.
6. Follow up all import L/C formalities and make sure ‘insurance coverage note’ is opened according to PI collected for LC opening.
7. Receive any kind of certificate, NOC.
8. Ensure preparation of Bill of Entry for custom clearance.
9. Communicate directly with customs house.
10. Commissionerate and NBR as necessary to answer queries tranquility and efficiently with updated documents and manage bond customs in any irregularities and difficulties.
11. Ensure handling over relevant documents to operations for transportation of goods and materials to and from ports.
12. Obtain and renew all licenses (e.g., ERC, IRC, Trade License, TIN, BIN, EPB, Environment, BERC, Factory, Fire & other licenses) and other related licenses from licensing authorities.
13. Any other task assigned by the management.
