Responsibilities & Context
- Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead the overall custom & bond function of the Company as per government compliance.
- Communicate with Bank, C&F, buyer, forwarder, audit firm, and suppliers.
- Board of Investment and chief controller of import & export (CCI&E) regarding custom & bonds formalities.
- Approve additional raw material requirements from custom bond.
- Maintain strong liaison with Customs office and other government bodies related to customs.
- Perform and face routine audits by external agencies relating to UP.
- Handle all customs-related responsibilities like yearly audits, HS Code formalities, general bond, receiving any kind of certificate, NOC.
- Ensure preparation of Bill of Entry for forwarding relevant documents to C&F for custom clearance.
- Communicate directly with customs house, customs bond.
- Commissionerate and NBR as necessary to answer queries tranquilly and efficiently with updated documents and manage bond customs in any irregularities and difficulties.
- Ensure handling over relevant documents to operations for transportation of goods and material to and from ports.
- Ensure yearly import/export customs statements for bond audit.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
- Export: Responsibilities & Context: Make export documents as per LC / SC.
- Issue SC, PI as per buyer requirement.
- Prepare all types of export documents as per LC / SC for Footwear Industries.
- Have working experience with different buyers.
- Verify export documents for compliance with local and international regulations, liaise with clients, and perform logistical tasks.
- Collect documents, prepare L/C accordingly, and complete bank formalities on time for timely delivery.
- Execute all regulatory formalities of Customs relating to Export.
- Liaison with C&F, Freight Forwarder & shipping line for online booking & monitor shipment.
- Prepare Export statement.Any other task assigned by the management.
Import: Responsibilities & Context:
- Organize and lead the overall custom & bond function of the Group as per government compliance.
- Communicate with Bank, C&F, forwarder, audit firm, and suppliers.
- Ensure updating bond register (In bond & Ex Bond) on due time.
- Ensure yearly import customs statements for bond audit.
- Maintain strong liaison with the Customs office and other government bodies related to customs and bond.
- Follow up all import L/C formalities and make sure ‘insurance coverage note’ is opened according to PI collected for LC opening.
- Receive any kind of certificate, NOC.
- Ensure preparation of Bill of Entry for custom clearance.
- Communicate directly with customs house.
- Commissionerate and NBR as necessary to answer queries tranquility and efficiently with updated documents and manage bond customs in any irregularities and difficulties.
- Ensure handling of relevant documents to operations for transportation of goods and materials to and from ports.
- Obtain and renew all licenses (e.g., ERC, IRC, Trade License, TIN, BIN, EPB, Environment, BERC, Factory, Fire & other licenses) and other related licenses from licensing authorities.
- Any other task assigned by the management.
