Responsibilities & Context
- Identify, evaluate, and develop local and international fabric suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and negotiate favorable prices, quality standards, and delivery terms.
- Source fabrics according to buyer requirements, product specifications, and seasonal trends.
- Collect fabric quotations from suppliers and prepare comparative cost analyses.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and lead times to achieve cost efficiency.
- Ensure fabric quality, color, construction, GSM, and performance meet customer requirements.
- Keep updated on fabric market trends, new materials, pricing fluctuations, and sourcing opportunities.
- Prepare sourcing reports, supplier databases, and procurement records
