• Up-to-date knowledge and skills on latest developments in the IT systems field

• Demonstrated experience in Windows operating systems

• High level of computer literacy, knowledge of a range of PC based computer programs

Responsibilities & Context

JMI Industrial Gas Ltd. (JIGL) is a joint venture company of Japan, Thailand & Bangladesh. It came on stream in the last lag of 2014 with the technical collaboration of world renowned THAI SPECIAL GAS CO., LTD. of Thailand. JIGL is the first company to introduce Ethylene Oxide Gas mixing plant in Bangladesh. JIGL uniquely poised to cater the demand of the country and has got surplus capacity to export to the overseas markets.

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individuals for an immediate appointment, who will look after Information Technology (IT) activities.

• Conducting routine evaluations of network and data security

• Locating and seizing chances to enhance and update software and systems

• Performing routine system audits

• Running routine system operations reports and sharing them with top employees

• Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages

• Looking for opportunities to train and build teamwork skills

• Plan and oversee the installation and maintenance of computer systems, hardware, and networks

• Assist the IT department head with leading and training IT staff

• Develop and implement policies related to network security, disaster recovery, and IT infrastructure

• Analyze resource utilization and develop strategies to optimize performance

• Establish, measure, and define IT goals and maintain an IT roadmap

• Monitor and analyze the success of IT initiatives and projects and continually develop and evaluate new technologies and tools for the company

• Perform ongoing support and maintenance of all hardware, software, and network components

• Must have good knowledge of Apple Notebook and iPhone.

• Have to work with Top Management.
