Additional Requirements
- Age 28 to 35 years
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the medical equipment or healthcare or pharmaceuticals industry.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required to meet clients and manage sales activities.
Responsibilities & Context
- Sales and business Development:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the public procurement sector.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, hospital administrators, and purchasing managers.
- Government Procurement:
- Manage all aspects of the government procurement process for medical equipment.
- Prepare and submit tender documents in compliance with government regulations and
requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals.
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance product positioning and sales strategies.
- Monitor and report on market developments and competitor activities.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Provide exceptional customer dealings, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, other sales teams, and company’s other wings.
- Ensure alignment of sales strategies with company goals and objectives.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of sales plans and initiatives.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights according to company’s rules.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends and competitive analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
