Executive/Sr. Executive- Production (Plastic Factory)

Context:

Responsible for the overall sizer operation, ensuring correct color shade preparation, proper machine settings, and consistent quality output. The role ensures smooth production flow, optimum chemical usage, and standard productivity while maintaining safety and discipline within the section.

Job Responsibilities:

• Verify and ensure accurate color shade matching as per approved standards.
• Prepare, adjust, and maintain color recipes for consistent shade accuracy.
• Monitor shade variation during production and take immediate corrective actions in case of a mismatch.
• Coordinate with the laboratory team for shade approval before bulk production.

• Set and monitor sizer machine parameters (temperature, pressure, masterbatch, speed, etc. according to product type.
• Ensure correct color mixing ratio and maintain sample standards during production.
• Conduct routine machine inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance with the engineering team.
• Operate and troubleshoot the Video Jet machine and ensure its proper functioning.

• Plan and execute daily production activities as per the production schedule and target output.
• Monitor production efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure optimal machine utilization.
• Prepare and submit daily production reports accurately and on time.

• Inspect materials during processing to ensure uniform finish, texture, and shade stability.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to reduce wastage, rework, and rejection.
• Ensure finished products meet internal and customer quality standards.

• Supervise machine operators and helpers to maintain discipline, teamwork, and productivity.
• Provide on-the-job training to team members to enhance skill levels and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the section.

• Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and use of PPE during operations.
• Maintain proper chemical handling procedures and safety documentation.
• Comply with factory policies, SOPs, and environmental and safety regulations.
