Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

  • Manage day-to-day store and warehouse operations efficiently.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of inventory items.
  • Maintain stock arrangement following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and inventory management best practices.
  • Monitor warehouse cleanliness, safety, and security standards.

Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
  • Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests to avoid stock shortages.
  • Track inventory movements and prepare inventory reports.

Material Issuance & Distribution

  • Process material requisitions from technical, network, IT, and operations teams.
  • Ensure timely issuance and transfer of inventory items to project and operational sites.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for material receipt and dispatch.

Asset & Equipment Management

  • Maintain records of network equipment, IT assets, and technical accessories.
  • Track movement of routers, switches, OLTs, ONTs, fiber optic materials, servers, cables, and related technology equipment.
  • Support periodic asset verification and asset tagging activities.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of high-value technology equipment.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Identify inventory risks, obsolete stock, and slow-moving items and recommend corrective actions.

Coordination & Communication

  • Liaise with Procurement, Finance, Technical, Network Operations, branch and Project teams.
  • Support emergency material requirements for network maintenance and deployment activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and transport providers regarding deliveries and inventory-related matters.
