- Practical experience in VAT management, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Hands-on experience with Mushak preparation and VAT software.
- Ability to work independently and handle regulatory communications
Responsibilities & Context
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns (Mushak 9.1) in compliance with VAT laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate VAT-related documentation, including Mushak registers (Mushak 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, etc.).
- Ensure proper deduction, deposit, and reporting of VAT at source (VDS).
- Handle VAT audits, queries, and correspondence with VAT authorities.
- Monitor changes in VAT rules and implement necessary updates in the company system.
- Coordinate with the internal accounts team to ensure proper VAT accounting.
