Responsibilities & Context

Kazi & Kazi Tea Estate Ltd. (KKTea) is the first internationally certified organic tea garden of Bangladesh located in the very northern region- Panchagarh. The garden was founded with the goal of improving lives in this particular remote and neglected region through organic farming utilizing local resources. In an effort to keep the soil as pristine & natural as we found it, we have since used natural, neem based biopesticides & cow dung as fertilizers. We are internationally certified by renowned certification bodies like Lacon, Rainforest Alliance & Fair Trade. Our international brand Teatulia has its brand footprints in renowned flagship stores in the world. One can find Teatulia organic tea in Harrods, Holland & Barett, Whole Foods, Kroger etc.

To support & growth, Kazi & Kazi Tea is searching for an energetic, pro-active & qualified Executive, Store who will work it’s Packaging & Sales Unit Office in Dhaka. The Executive- Store is responsible for overseeing inventory management, store operations and distribution processes to ensure smooth, efficient and timely delivery of goods. This role involves coordinating with other departments, maintaining accurate records, managing inventory levels and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability while minimizing holding costs.

  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Manage reordering processes based on demand forecasting and replenishment cycles.

  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements, returns and damages.

Store Operations:

  • Oversee daily store activities, including receiving, storing, picking and dispatching of goods.

  • Ensure that goods are properly labeled, sorted and stored in designated area.

  • Optimize space utilization and store layout for maximum efficiency.

  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain cleanliness, order and safety within the facility.

  • Disposes of expired and waste stock according to the current procedure

  • To prepare MRR, delivery challan and gate pass as and when is necessary

Activation Management:

  • Coordinate activation schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods to the right locations.

  • Work closely with logistics providers, transporters and distribution channels to manage shipments.

  • Track delivery and address any issues with delivery schedules or product damages.

  • Implement measures to improve delivery efficiency and reduce transportation and damage costs.

Quality and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure all store and delivery activities comply with company policies, safety protocols and industry standards.

  • Regularly inspect the facility for compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Implement and oversee proper handling procedures to prevent product damage or loss.

  • Check incoming materials for quality and quantity against invoices, purchase orders and packing slips or other documents.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, goods received and dispatched and inventory adjustments.

  • Generate daily, weekly and monthly reports on inventory and delivery activities for management review.

  • Handle different internal and external audits as and when is necessary.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in logistics, supply chain management and make recommendations for improvements based on best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, brand and production along with supplier, vendors to align storage and delivery processes with overall business objectives.

  • Any other job assigns by the supervisor or line management time to time.
