    Engineering Firms, Direct Selling/Marketing Service Company, Indenting Firm, Shipyard, HVAC System, Importer, Technical Infrastructure, Industrial Machineries (Generator, Diesel Engine etc.), Fire Fighting and Safety

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 35 years
  • The applicants should have experience in Sales through Tender process, Marine Technology, Sales & Marketing of Marine Equipment and Spare Parts.
  • The applicants should have work experience in Engineering Firms.
  • Must have strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Good Engineering knowledge in the respective field of Tender sales.
  • Experience of sales in Govt. Organization through Tender participation will be preferred.
  • Need to have adequate knowledge to participate in e-GP and Govt. Tender process.
  • Need to have adequate knowledge about Tender Security, Bank Guarantee, Performance guarantee, line of credit and audit report.
  • Good understanding of commercial aspects of business including Sales VAT & Tax.
  • Ability to work in an inclusive, multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Responsible for the sales of equipment & spares mainly to Govt/Semi Govt/Autonomous Entities in Bangladesh through submission of offer in response to their published tender.
  • Search for the invitation of tenders published in website or e-gp or any notice board, recommend appropriate solutions, source the product from suitable OEM/supplier, prepare tender documents as per the needs of the tender and submission of tender documents to the clients complying all requirements.
  • Sell products to the valued customer by establishing good contact and developing relationships and recommending suitable solutions.
  • Identify the demands of the procuring entities collecting information from them maintaining good relationship and gathering business intelligence.
  • Discovering and tracking new tender & sales prospects.
  • Studying the current market trends for a product and identify enhancements.
  • Research different tender & sales option & analyze them.
  • Recommend new opportunities and improvements for maximizing profits through participating in different tenders.
  • Must be able to work with a team to achieve the desired results.
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of all relevant matters of tender.
  • Any other task assigned by the management from time to time.
