Requirements

Education

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management, Masters

• PGDSCM from BIM will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

Candidate Job Location will be at South East Textiles (Pvt.) Ltd. – Expansion. Mirzapur, Tangail.

Inventory Management:

• 1. Supervise and maintain accurate records of grey fabric stock levels.
• 2. Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory systems to reflect real-time quantities.
• 3. Ensure proper storage and categorization of grey fabrics by type, color, and batch number.

Receiving & Dispatch:

• 1. Oversee the receipt of grey fabric deliveries, ensuring correct quantities and quality.
• 2. Supervise the unloading and checking of incoming fabric rolls for defects or discrepancies.
• 3. Coordinate the dispatch of grey fabric to production teams, ensuring timely delivery to minimize production delays.

Quality Control:

• 1. Perform regular quality checks on the grey fabric to ensure that it meets industry standards and company specifications.
• 2. Report any discrepancies in fabric quality and initiate corrective actions in collaboration with quality control and production teams.

Warehouse Organization:

• 1. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, ensuring fabric rolls are stored in a manner that prevents damage.
• 2. Implement best practices for fabric handling, minimizing waste and giving recommendation for maximizing space utilization.

Coordination with Production:

• 1. Collaborate with the production department to ensure timely and accurate fabric supply for garment manufacturing.
• 2.Coordinate fabric transfers to different sections of the warehouse or factory as needed.

Documentation & Reporting:

• 1. Maintain accurate records of fabric movements (receiving, storing, and dispatching).
• 2.Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.
• 3. Ensure all fabric handling and storage activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Safety Compliance:

• 1. Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with safety regulations and guidelines.
• 2. Train warehouse staff on safe handling and storage of fabrics, and maintain the highest standards of health and safety in the warehouse.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Management
