Responsibilities & Context
Develop comprehensive designs for fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire pumps, alarms and suppression systems tailored to the apparel manufacturing sector.
Ensure adherence to relevant codes including NFPA standards and local fire regulations.
Work closely with engineering and production teams to integrate fire protection systems seamlessly with HVAC, electrical systems, and equipment layouts.
Supervise the installation of fire protection systems, providing expert guidance to construction teams throughout the process.
Conduct field inspections to verify that installations align with design specifications and regulatory requirement.
Maintain Meticulous records of design and installation activities, including specifications, plans, and inspection reports.
Provide technical guidance to engineering and maintenance teams as needed, ensuring the effective operation of fire protection systems.
Stay informed of updates in codes and regulations, as well as advancements in fire protection technology, to ensure ongoing compliance.
Ensure regular maintenance and inspection of fire detection and protection systems, including control panels of CFD and CFPS.
Exhibit a strong understanding of emergency response protocols and risk assessment for fire protection.
Prepare a list of materials required for CFDS and CFPS in new construction projects and ensure completion of as-built designs and drawings.
Lead and coordinate the activities of the fire protection and detection team, ensuring all members are equipped to handle responsibilities effectively.
In-depth knowledge of BNBC, NFPA 13, 14, &20.ยงย Proven experience in fire protection system design and implementation.
Strong analytical skills in risk identifications and emergency response management system.
