Responsibilities & Context

Expert Network Engineer:

• Develop conceptual designs along with the planner and site manager for Network improvement projects.
• Develop NWC’s operational Network strategy, ensuring correlation between the projects execution and NWC strategic direction
• Draft and develop the Network operation policies and programs based on internal and external benchmark and best practices.
• Identify key improvement areas and provide continuous process and service improvement.
• Present water resource proposals to government, public interest groups, or community groups.
• Develop the Network Operations safety policies.
• Set the department’s strategic objectives
• Develop solutions for Network systems and submit recommendations to the managers to support the decision making process.
• Develop the detailed work breakdown structure and project plan to deliver project scope.
• Develop and provide professional input regarding plant design documents for the operational projects.
• Ensure that a periodic maintenance is performed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Determination of the department requirements such as; operational materials, equipment and laborers
• Applying of latest operational methods in the operation of the units and the equipment
• Viewing of the periodical safety reports and improving of the safety rules accordingly
• Oversight the preparation of the monthly & annually technical reports and the correspondences that have been issued to and from the Network • Oversight the preparing of the equipment spare parts purchasing orders from in or outside the Kingdom
• Performing of inspection tour to the Network during and outside the official working hours to confirm the proper functioning of the work
• Oversight operation of all Network

NETWORK ENGINEER:

• Oversee the conceptual designs related to the Network operations and ensure their adherence to NWC standards.
• Guide the development and update plant operational strategies, building on input from various stakeholders.
• Oversee the development and standardization of all Network operation policies and procedures across NWC.
• Guide the process of creating and developing the safety policies.
• Review third party provider (e.g. consultants, subcontractors, technical support companies) performance during Network operations and ensure that deliverables are aligned with company’s strategic priorities
• Lead the selection of third party providers for Network operations projects
