Briz Apparel Group is a leading uniform supplier in Australia, offering high-quality, customizable uniforms for schools, businesses, and sports teams through our three well-established brands: BrizLeavers, BrizSports, and BrizUniform. As we expand our digital presence, we are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to help us build new websites, develop custom plugins, and integrate advanced tools to support our growing business needs.
We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient WordPress Developer to join our IT & Marketing Department. Reporting to our Head of IT & Marketing, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining multiple WordPress websites across our brands. This includes building custom plugins, ensuring website security, and focusing on UI/UX design and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in identifying and fixing malware and ensuring the ongoing security of our websites. Strong knowledge of PHP, UI/UX, and website optimization techniques is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Custom Plugin Development: Develop and customize WordPress plugins (e.g., product designer tools, payment gateways, and other integrations).
Website Rebuild & Development: Design, develop, and optimize WordPress websites to align with our brand goals.
UI/UX Design: Create user-friendly, visually appealing websites that offer a seamless experience for our customers.
Website Speed & Optimization: Optimize websites for speed and performance, including caching and database optimizations.
Payment Integration: Develop and customize payment gateways and eCommerce features for seamless transactions.
Database Optimization: Improve database structures and performance, ensuring scalability for product data and transactions.
Malware Identification & Removal: Identify, fix, and secure websites from malware, security breaches, and vulnerabilities.
Troubleshooting: Address and resolve technical issues and bugs promptly.
